Our next meeting is Elders night where we hear from some of our esteemed retired IAH members who have been senior leaders in hydrogeology in NSW. Elders night is designed to be a bit less formal than our regular technical presentations and more interactive with the audience. The format will be a panel arrangement where our panel members will be asked a series of questions about their careers, experiences, pathways, embarrassing stories, links to IAH and to provide career advice to our members. Previous Elders Nights have proved to be very successful and a highlight of the year and worthwhile attending in person if possible.
The evening will commence with an award presentation from the Australian Institute of Geoscientists followed by an introduction by NSW IAH president Richard Creswell, introduction of panel members and questions to the panel.
